Manage a download from start to finish
PisoTrack Download Manager organizes file transfers and queues. This walkthrough uses supplied screens plus dialog captures from the codebase. We will add a URL, choose where it saves, control progress, and review scheduling and cleanup.
Add an approved file URL
Choose a destination
Monitor and control the queue
CHAPTER 02 · 0:16
Add the file address
Select Add URL and paste the download address into the Address field. Use a legitimate source and a link you are authorized to download. Select OK to review the file information before the transfer starts.
Use a direct download link
Paste into Address
Select OK
CHAPTER 03 · 0:30
Check where the file will be saved
In Download File Info, review the address, category, and Save As location. Choose a clear filename and a folder with enough space. Start Download begins the transfer; Download Later adds it for a later queue run.
Review URL and category
Choose Save As location
Start now or Download Later
CHAPTER 04 · 0:45
Read progress without assuming completion
The main list shows status, progress, transfer rate, and estimated time remaining. Use the category list to find finished or unfinished items. A partial progress bar is not a finished file, and the displayed speed is only a reference example.
Status and percentage
Transfer rate and time left
Finished versus unfinished items
CHAPTER 05 · 1:01
Stop and resume the selected transfer
Select a transfer before using Stop or Resume. Resume behavior depends on the saved download state and what the source server supports. If a link expires or the server rejects continuation, review the error and refresh the address when appropriate.
Select the intended item
Stop when needed
Resume if the source supports it
CHAPTER 06 · 1:17
Schedule work around shop activity
Open Scheduler to set queue start and stop times, and review Repeat daily. Check When done carefully: shutdown, sleep, or hibernate affects the PC. Choose Do nothing when the shop computer should remain available after transfers finish.
Set start and stop times
Review Repeat daily
Check the When done action
CHAPTER 07 · 1:33
Choose how much bandwidth to use
Options includes a speed limiter. Set an appropriate limit when downloads share the shop connection with customers. Test normal browsing or gaming while transfers run and adjust as needed; a higher transfer rate is not always the useful outcome.
Review the speed limit
Use a suitable transfer rate
Recheck customer connectivity
CHAPTER 08 · 1:49
Distinguish list cleanup from file deletion
When deleting a download entry, read the confirmation. The option to also delete downloaded files changes what is removed from disk. Leave that option clear if you only intend to remove list entries and keep the downloaded files.
Read the confirmation
Check whether disk files are included
Keep completed files you still need
CHAPTER 09 · 2:05
Verify the completed file
Finish by checking the completed status and the file in your chosen folder. Verify its source and integrity before installing or sharing it with shop PCs. This walkthrough covers local download management; it does not demonstrate a measured speed gain or LAN cache.
