CHAPTER 01 · 0:00
Work from the hardware scan
PisoTrack Driver Installer scans the local machine and presents driver candidates. This supplied-screen guide follows scanning, reviewing, backup, and selected installation. Test during a maintenance window, especially when updating a network, graphics, or storage device.
Scan this PC
Review matching candidates
Install and verify selected drivers
CHAPTER 02 · 0:18
Refresh the device registry
Open Device Registry and select Re-scan Hardware. Wait until the scan is complete before choosing updates. The summary and device list describe this particular PC; the counts in the reference screen are not a claim about your machine.
Open Device Registry
Select Re-scan Hardware
Wait for the scan to finish
CHAPTER 03 · 0:33
Read the candidate details
Read each device row and expand Details for a proposed update. Compare the installed driver, candidate version, and device match. A newer version alone is not enough reason to replace a working driver without checking compatibility.
Installed version
Candidate version and match
Device identity and purpose
CHAPTER 04 · 0:49
Back up before replacing drivers
Choose Backup Drivers before replacing important drivers. Confirm the reported result and keep the backup folder available. A backup may fail or be incomplete, so read the output instead of assuming the button produced a usable recovery copy.
Create the backup
Confirm it succeeded
Keep the backup available
CHAPTER 05 · 1:05
Select only the relevant candidates
Check the candidates you intend to install, then use Install Selected. Expert Mode allows weaker matches and system-device work; it is not a routine shortcut. Keep the selection limited to devices whose need and compatibility you have reviewed.
Check the intended rows
Leave unrelated devices alone
Use expert options only with evidence
CHAPTER 06 · 1:22
Read installation progress and outcomes
Open Installation Logs during the job and let operations finish. Read the outcome for each device, including download, package, and installation errors. Follow restart requirements and confirm the PC still has working display, network, and input devices afterward.
Let each operation finish
Read per-device success or failure
Note any restart requirement
CHAPTER 07 · 1:40
Use Restore Backup when appropriate
If a driver change causes a problem, use the available backup and Restore Backup when appropriate. Review any partial restore or failure message. Restart when required, then rescan and test the affected device before returning the machine to customers.
Confirm a backup exists
Review restore output
Restart and recheck the device
CHAPTER 08 · 1:57
Verify hardware behavior, not just a badge
Finish with another hardware scan and a practical device test. Check sound, connectivity, display, or the device you updated. Keep the version and result for that PC, and expand the process only after the maintenance outcome is confirmed.
